What is the best street for a student to live on in New Orleans?

I’m an undergrad transferring to Tulane in the fall, and I’m currently looking for an apartment. I don’t know much about the city and its neighborhoods, so I was hoping a local or a student in the area could help me out. Is there a really cool street or two that a lot of students live on? What is the absolute best street to live on? Don’t say Bourbon, I don’t want it to be too loud, haha.

Freret st., Broadway, and Nashville ave. they are pretty close to campus

    St. Charles Ave.
Also look for places near maple street. Great places to walk to eat, drink, and shop.

i just moved out to canal blvd in lakeview, which is a little neighborhood by mid-city. good restaurants, cool bars, low crime and friendly people make this area really nice.

they have houses and apartments all around campus.

Broadway St is filled with Frat houses and if you google search an look at the map they have many small streets that link to it.
