I want a mid-priced hotel near bourbon street in new orleans over the holiday weekend. any suggestions?
I’m traveling to New Orleans over the holidays. I want a hotel near bourbon street/french quarter .. and want it to feature a hot tub and breakfast. any suggestions?
I would check out the Bienville House Hotel on the 300 block of Decatur
it is in the Quarter, and only about 3-4 blocks from Bourbon. Its a pretty nice joint and well priced from what I recall.

try kayak.com
watch out for parking. can easily add another $20/night.
we stayed at the admiral. it was nice but several blocks off the main drag. was less than 50 a night.

The Holiday Inn Chateau LeMoyne is a good option. This is an historic hotel located on Rue Dauphine in the French Quarter, only one block from Bourbon Street.
I just checked and they have one Executive Jacuzzi Suite and also offer a Best-for-Breakfast package. Not only are you steps from Bourbon Street, you are also close to all the other famous New Orleans attractions like: Jackson Square, French Market, Riverboats, Superdome, D-Day Museum and more.
Hope this helps. Have a great time in New Orleans!

Try this program http://www.hotelscombined.com./City/New_Orleans.htm?a_aid=11406&label=yahoo it will compare and select the best prices from a combination of hotel bookers and then return the best deal for your hotel.
For more help on how to use the program you can visit my page http://www.romanlife-romeitaly.com/central-rome-hotels.html
My website is about Rome Italy, but not to worry, the principles behind searching for hotels are the same everywhere.
Let me know how you get on, cheers.

Michelle M has a great answer.
Also check with the Omni Royal Orleans.
Go to http://www.frenchquarterhotels.com for some non-chain properties in the French Quarter.
Hope you have a great time!
