Is there a place in New Orleans that buys mardi gras beads?

I have a lot of mardi gras beads that I would hate to throw away. Is there a place in New Orleans that buys them?

Not sell, but donate:

What historic inn in New Orleans am I looking for?

I learned about it on a ghost tour in the french quarter. Supposedly, it’s haunted because of all the civil war soldiers housed there back in the day. Housekeeping will see blood all over the sheets, blink, and look back to see the sheets blood-free. I’m fairly certain it’s not the Hotel Monteleone.

Some parts if the hotel Provincial were used as Civil War Confederate Hospital. According to the history some of the wounded have come back. Stay in Building # 5, it’s the most haunted! Many guests say they have walked into their room and seen many bloody soldiers lying in pain and moaning in their room. Then only to disappear as lights come on.

what is the average cost for staying in new orleans for mardi gras?

what is the average cost for staying in New Orleans for Mardi gras? im an accountancy student and I NEED to know the average cost so i have a base cost to go by. Exact cost preferred but average cost will do.

figure a hotel room with 2 double beds maximum occupancy of 5 at $250 to $300 a night.

food and drink depends on if your a champagne type a guy or a lucky dog patron

you can save a lot of money buy visiting the grocery store and mixing up a batch of your favorite alcohol in a plastic jug. (no glass or cans allowed on the street)

the same goes for food, if your room has a fridge you can make sandwiches and save a ton of money, avoid room service and put a lock on the mini bar.

if your drinking in a bar avoid running a tab, it’s easier to keep count of your money if your paying cash and avoids any surprises at the end of the night.

if your drinking at Pat O’s on the patio don’t forget to cash in your glasses as the price they charge is if you want to keep them.

What does "Regent Duc d’Orleans" mean? I am doing a research paper on the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Regent means -1. a person who exercises the ruling power in a kingdom during the minority, absence, or disability of the sovereign.
2. a ruler or governor.
3. a member of the governing board of a state university or a state educational system.
4. a university officer who exercises general supervision over the conduct and welfare of the students.
5. (in certain Catholic universities) a member of the religious order who is associated in the administration of a school or college with a layperson who is its dean or director.

Duc means - Duke

d’ Orleans means - of Orleans

So it means a ruler Duke of Orleans

New Orleans Tours, which are best?

My husband want to go on a swamp tour, my friend on a plantation tour and I want to go on a cemetery tour. Out of all the places that offer these which are the best. (Not to campy and not too long)
Thanks

Make sure you do an airboat tour in the atchafalaya basin..going on the the big boats are not fun. You can only fit about 6 people on a airboat tour. It is more private and you can go through more heavy areas of the swamps. You see a lot more wildlife. It is amazing experience.
