Something Fishy at New Orleans’ Mardi Gras Photograph - Beautiful 16″x20″ Photographic Print by Carol M. Highsmith

Photographs America presents thousands of stunning, keepsake, and whimsical 16×20 prints of memorable photographs from every part of the United States. Not just scenic landscapes but also city skylines, aerial and small-town scenes, Civil War sites and classic American landmarks, intricate architectural details, and treasured rural views. Many depict fine art or are works of art themselves that capture the many moods of our vast nation. Most of our horizontal and vertical photographs enlarge beautifully into the 16×20 dimensions that we offer. Square and other irregular-size photographs, however, will be printed at the maximum size that best represents and maintains the visual quality of these images up to 16×20. These prints may be somewhat larger or smaller than 16×20 inches. There is no additional charge for these custom prints or for framing them.

Do most New Orleans tourist spots allow water bottles?

Next week I'll be touring New Orleans with my family. We'll be doing lots of walking in the heat, so I'd like to carry a bottle of water in my bag. However, I do not want to cause any issues with bring fluids into any historical places (I had this happen a couple times during my Washington DC trip).

So, I'm looking for advice from people who have traveled or lived there. Should I have any issues carrying a bottle of water?

I can't think of anywhere you would have a problem with a bottle of water in your bag. Even restaurants/bars that don't allow outside beverages won't have a problem with a water bottle in your bag.

Note that some museums don't allow bags (they store them while you tour the museum) and I don't know if they would have a problem with you carrying a bottle of water in your pocket. You should be able to leave it in your bag.

Where To Stay In New Orleans For Mardi Gras 2010?

im planning a trip to mardi gras for 6 of us. We are all in our 20's and looking to have a really good time. We are very budget minded. Any help would be appreciated.

There are lots of hotels in and near the French Quarter. Since there are so many of you, there shouldn't be too much trouble staying in a fairly nice hotel
