Has anybody been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans?
It starts in a couple of weeks.
No - never have, probably never will be. I have, however, been lost in the French Quarter before at night. For several hours after getting split from the group of people I was with, I wondered around the Quarter with my car keys, my driver's license, my cigs & 17 cents in my pocket, trying to find my d*mn car. You see - I had been drinking & had forgotten where in the h*ll I had parked it. All I knew is that it was parked in front of a certain "type" of bar, somewhere close to Dumaine Street. Hmmmm - can you imagine the amount of "DUH" looks I got when trying to ask directions? LOL I finally found it @ 4 AM the next morning - needless to say, I was very happy to see my car & one of my group there with it.
I did find, however, if you walk around the French Quarter barefoot, you WILL pick glass shards out of your feet for the next 6 weeks - I kid you not!! Guess I was drunk enuff NOT to notice them going INTO my feet!! LOL ;~D

some will have two beds and a sofa that can fold out into a bed but that's pretty rare.unless you get a suite.
for a fee you can get a fold out bed for a single person.
